FINN Partners grows US Midwest footprint
The 10-person team will support clients in the Twin Cities and beyond, including Hormel Foods, Medtronic and Life Time.
FINN Partners has opened an office in Minneapolis, marking its fifth location in the Midwest and 39th worldwide. The 10-person team will support clients in the Twin Cities and beyond, including Hormel Foods, Medtronic and Life Time.
The office is located in Minneapolis’ North Loop and joins FINN Partners’ operations in Chicago, Columbus, Detroit and Madison, Wisconsin. The firm describes the Midwest as one of its fastest-growing regions.
FINN Partners builds Minneapolis team around senior talent
The Minneapolis operation includes four senior partners working with teams in the city and across the agency: Greg Swan, Senior Partner and U.S. Head of Futures & Client Transformation; Laura Anderson Sanchez, Senior Partner, Consumer Lifestyle and Sports; Carrie Young, Senior Partner, Health; and David Krejci, Senior Partner, Narrative Intelligence.
Their expertise covers creative and digital strategy, client transformation, brand partnerships, executive positioning, influencer marketing, health communications, digital narrative strategy, risk intelligence and crisis management.
The team’s sector focus reflects key areas of Minnesota’s economy, including health and life sciences, outdoor and sports, consumer and lifestyle, food and agriculture, technology and B2B, financial services and manufacturing. The state also has a high concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and an established creative and marketing talent base.
Integrated marketing expands beyond public relations
Public relations remains central to FINN Partners’ earned-first approach, while clients are increasingly using the agency for social, influencer and digital marketing. The Minneapolis team provides content, SEO, paid media and brand strategy through integrated teams.
The office also draws on FINN Partners’ Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) practice, which focuses on helping brands improve discovery across AI search and answer engines alongside traditional media, social platforms and search.
Greg Swan, Senior Partner and U.S. Head of Futures & Client Transformation at FINN Partners: “Brands here are asking harder questions about how they get discovered and trusted, and the answers no longer live in any single channel,” said Greg Swan, Senior Partner and U.S. Head of Futures & Client Transformation at FINN Partners. “Earned-first public relations, social and influencer, digital and content, and the newer discovery work all work better when designed as one system from the start rather than bolted together. That is how this team is built, and it is what clients are asking us for.”
Minneapolis extends FINN Partners’ Midwest network
The Minneapolis office is overseen by Dan Pooley, Founding Managing Partner, Midwest, who has led the region’s expansion since FINN Partners launched in 2011.
Dan Pooley, Founding Managing Partner, Midwest, FINN Partners: “The Twin Cities has been a natural next market for us,” said Pooley. “We built Chicago, Detroit and Madison around senior talent who understand their markets and the industries that drive them, and Minneapolis is very much the same. This is a market with real depth in health, outdoor and sports, consumer brands and technology, and a client base that expects senior people in the room. Opening here is an investment in the region and in the clients we serve across it.”
The Minneapolis team will work with colleagues across FINN Partners’ global network, giving Twin Cities clients access to specialists across the agency while extending the expertise of its Minnesota-based team to clients in other markets.
