5W becomes VVater’s agency partner for global communication

5W has been appointed Agency of Record for VVater, the water technology company behind the Farady Reactor, an electrified purification system designed to eliminate contaminants such as PFAS, microplastics and pathogens without producing secondary waste. The partnership will support VVater’s communications as the company expands its presence in the fast-growing water technology sector.

VVater has gained industry recognition through honours from TIME, CES, Inc and the World Future Award, and is positioning itself within a water sector facing major global investment needs. Analysts at the World Economic Forum and McKinsey estimate a thirteen trillion dollar gap in water innovation and resilience by 2030, underscoring the scale of the challenge the company aims to address.

Integrated programme to highlight VVater’s technology

Under the partnership, 5W will develop an integrated communications strategy to raise awareness of VVater’s work in water electrification and support its visibility among corporate, environmental, industrial and innovation audiences. The programme includes executive thought leadership, media relations, narrative development and campaigns focused on VVater’s commercial progress.

Lori Ruggiero, Managing Partner and EVP at 5W: "We are incredibly proud to partner with VVater, a company whose technology is reshaping one of the world's most critical resource systems. VVater is not just innovating within the water category; it is reframing what sustainable infrastructure can look like for industries, cities, and communities. We're excited to further tell their story as they continue to scale worldwide."

VVater’s Farady Reactor applies Advanced Low Tension Electroporation, a process that uses controlled electrical fields rather than chemicals or filters. The system has treated more than four billion gallons of contaminated water, with independent laboratory assessments confirming full contaminant destruction.

Supporting VVater’s expansion and global mission

Kevin Gast, Co-Founder, CEO and Chairman, VVater: "VVater was founded on a simple but urgent belief: the world's water challenges won't be solved by marginal improvements, and they demand a fundamental rethinking of how we purify and protect our most essential resource. As we scale the Farady Reactor and the broader field of water electrification, our priority is to build trust, clarity, and global understanding around what this new standard can make possible. Partnering with 5W gives us a strategic ally who understands not just the technology, but the stakes, and can help us tell that story with the depth and urgency it deserves."

5W’s corporate communications team will oversee earned media, executive visibility and reputation management from its New York headquarters. Reporting, analytics and a structured message platform will inform ongoing activity as VVater advances its manufacturing expansion, international deployments, residential launch plans and humanitarian projects.
