World Out of Home Organization expands into Brazil
The World Out of Home Organization (WOO) has expanded its presence in Latin America by appointing Felipe Forjaz, founder of media owners helloo and elemidia, and former President of the Brazilian Out of Home Association (ABOOH), to its board.
Felipe Forjaz will represent Brazil, the largest out of home (OOH) market in the region, bringing local industry perspectives into WOO’s global agenda.
Felipe Forjaz: "Being part of the WOO Board is a great honour and a great responsibility, as I will be representing the Brazilian OOH market and aim to bring local awareness to the challenges other countries face, both restrictive and technological."
Felipe Viante, President, ABOOH: "This appointment means actively participating in the development of global standards, as well as creating a space for local experiences to be recognized and shared on a global scale."
Halisson Pantarolla, CEO, Outdoormidia: "Felipe's appointment represents the maturity of the entire Brazilian OOH ecosystem. It's recognition of the efforts of companies and leaders who have worked tirelessly to raise standards and ensure Brazil's legitimate role in the global OOH industry."
Tom Goddard, President, WOO: "Brazil is the largest OOH market in LATAM, so it’s an important step forward for us to have the country represented on the WOO Board. I am confident that Felipe will serve the interests of the entire OOH community in Brazil collaboratively and with distinction, raising standards and cultivating closer international relationships."
