World Federation of Advertisers grows its corporate network

World Federation of Advertisers, WFA, has welcomed a host of new corporations into its membership in recent months, with 140 multinationals now plugged into the organisation’s peer-to-peer networks.

A wide range of categories but particularly tech, appliances and accessories, financial players and automotive firms are particularly strong in the new membership list with Oppo, Philips Domestic Appliances, global medical device company Align Technology and Groupe SEB (Krups, Rowenta, Tefal, WMF) joining from the former, Toyota and BMW coming from automotive, and Goldman Sachs, Manulife and Bank of Africa coming on board from the finance sector.

Other new members joining include Wella, Neste, an engineering services company that creates solutions for combating climate change and accelerating a shift to a circular economy, as well as Best Buy and Angelini Pharma.

Claire Mullen, Director of Member Services, WFA: “Our growing membership base demonstrates the value that multinational marketers receive from being plugged in to our network, even more so during times of uncertainty and change. WFA was a port in storm for brands during COVID, keeping them connected and abreast of key issues.
