West Cary Group secures marketing deal with Virginia Community College System
West Cary Group has been awarded a two-year contract with the Virginia Community College System (VCCS), expanding its footprint in higher education and public service marketing.
The Richmond-based agency will provide full-service support across campaign development, performance reporting, and community engagement for all 23 colleges in the VCCS network.
The contract positions West Cary Group at the center of a statewide effort to boost enrollment and community impact, as VCCS continues its mission to provide accessible, career-focused education to more than 230,000 students annually.
Moses Foster, president and chief executive officer, West Cary Group: “As a vital force in developing Virginia's talent pipeline, VCCS is pivotal in shaping the Commonwealth's future. To contribute to a mission that empowers learners and strengthens communities across the Commonwealth is incredibly meaningful. Our team is proud to bring bold creative and data-driven strategy to a partnership that directly impacts the success of our home state.”
VCCS plays a key role in Virginia’s public education system, accounting for nearly half of the state’s undergraduate enrollment. Its programs aim to improve economic mobility and workforce development through career-aligned education and training.
This engagement adds to West Cary Group’s growing portfolio of public service clients. In 2024, the agency secured a two-year marketing and creative strategy contract with the University of Virginia. Other clients include the Virginia Department of Health, Virginia Department of Social Services, Richmond International Airport, Alexandria Renew Enterprises, and the Philadelphia Water Department.
