Overview of job

The DAX Supply Team is responsible for the end-to-end account management of each of the partners in the Digital Ad Exchange (DAX). This role requires someone who is passionate, resilient, agile and can shine in a high performance-based business!

Through active engagement and a consultative approach, you will drive value to your accounts within the Global Creator Network (Global’s portfolio of owned & operated and third-party podcasts) through analysis of performance tracking, updating processes, campaign management and excellent customer service.

You will be knowledgeable and passionate about podcasts, knowing who the key players are and the current industry trends. A background in digital advertising would be preferable. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team in Sales, Tech Development and Ad Operations to drive value for your accounts and must be adept at achieving multiple objectives while dealing with multiple partners.

Measures of success – In the first few months, you would have:

  • Established regular account meetings with podcast partners, providing updates on campaigns and flagging any issues internally.
  • Owned the brand approvals process from start to finish, being the liaison between the podcast sales team and our podcast partners.
  • Established processes and workstreams to keep important accounts and documents up to date.
  • Built strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders across Tech, Ad-Ops, Reporting, Commercial Analytics and Sales.
  • Become familiar with the podcasts in Global’s Creator Network.

 

Responsibilities of the role

  • Day-to-day responsibility for keeping process and documentation across podcast portfolio up to date.
  • Manage and develop key client accounts through the full life cycle of the account: presales support, on-boarding, on-going account management, monthly/quarterly business reviews, etc.
  • Responsible for keeping contract filing systems up to date.
  • Day-to-day management of brand approvals with podcast hosts and partnerships team.
  • Maintain active dialogue with clients through regular meetings.
  • Support the wider team with administrative tasks.

 

What you will need

The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:

Required

  • Is brilliant at prioritisation and decision-making.
  • Is both analytical and creative in their problem solving.
  • Uses Excel to at least an intermediate level, and competency in PowerPoint or Keynote.
  • Education to degree level (or appropriate work-based experience).
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the industry in which Global operates.
  • A detailed and analytical approach to problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • A detailed and analytical approach to inventory opportunities.
  • Ability to set and work to self-imposed deadlines as well as those given by others.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills to provide consultative support to Partners and Sales teams.

 

Preferred

  • Experience working in Digital Advertising.
  • Experience working with digital ad-servers.
  • Knowledge of Tableau would be an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of the podcasting industry.
