These are the Christmas campaigns of 2023

This year, various agencies such as Alfred, TBWA\NEBOKO, Energize, DDB Unlimited and INDIE have developed Christmas campaigns for various brands. From cheerful messages to subtle discussions, these campaigns highlight various themes that fit the Christmas period.

Alfred for Praxis

Alfred is developing a Praxis campaign that starts the discussion about collecting Christmas trees early before Sinterklaas. This campaign appears on television and online. In the teaser phase, influencers share a creative way for parents to get a Christmas tree in their home before Sinterklaas Eve: by asking for it in their shoe. The concept was developed in collaboration with the social agency Monkeys & Bananas. Later in the campaign there will be a social activation where parents and children can ask Santa for a Christmas tree themselves.

TBWA\NEBOKO for PostNL

PostNL is launching the December stamps this year as part of the Tot Snel campaign. With humor and a slightly critical note, the campaign encourages people to send a Christmas card instead of an app, complete with a December stamp designed by Linde Faas. PostNL's Tot Snel series emphasizes the importance of this traditional message and is distributed through various channels, including TV, radio, online and magazines.

Energize for PLUS

In Energize's 2023 Christmas campaign, PLUS shows how Christmas is all about shared stories, dishes and initiatives for enjoying together. It starts on December 5 with a traditional Christmas commercial telling the story of twin brothers, Thomas and William, who live apart despite their proximity. The online videos show their joint kitchen adventures and how cleverness and surprises come together during the Christmas period.

DDB Unlimited, Eigen Fabrikaat and MassiveMusic for Kruidvat

DDB Unlimited and Eigen Fabrikaat worked together with MassiveMusic on the Christmas campaign Everyone deserves a nice Christmas for Kruidvat. The aim of the campaign is to raise as much money as possible for people in the Netherlands who live in poverty. Kruidvat recently started a long-term partnership with the Poverty Fund to structurally support this initiative.

INDIE Amsterdam for the VakantieDiscounter

Dé VakantieDiscounter launches a daring Christmas commercial, different than expected, with a wink instead of a tear. The commercial, made by agency INDIE, revolves around the sensitivity of holidays during Christmas. 1 in 6 Dutch people feel social pressure to stay at home during the holidays. Of those who do go, 35 percent actually escape social obligations.
