StackAdapt targets healthcare ads with NPI measurement
StackAdapt has introduced in-platform National Provider Identifier targeting and measurement capabilities designed for pharmaceutical marketers and healthcare agencies, allowing them to run deterministic, privacy-compliant campaigns aimed at healthcare professionals within a single self-serve environment.
The solution enables advertisers to use NPI data to plan, activate and measure one-to-one campaigns across multiple digital channels without relying on third-party activation or managed services. Marketers can upload NPI lists, create healthcare professional segments and access impression-level reporting directly in the platform.
As US healthcare digital advertising spend is projected to exceed $20 billion by 2026, marketers are under pressure to balance regulatory compliance with precise targeting and measurable outcomes. StackAdapt positions its in-platform approach as a way to streamline campaign execution while maintaining performance visibility.
The in-platform capabilities allow advertisers to build healthcare professional audiences based on factors such as specialty, clinical behavior and geography. Campaigns can be activated across connected TV, display, native, audio and video formats from one interface.
Measurement is provided through HIPAA-compliant, impression-level reporting at the NPI level, enabling ongoing evaluation and optimization. The self-serve setup is intended to reduce operational friction and shorten the time between planning and launch.
Giuseppe La Rocca, VP of Enterprise Sales: “Pharmaceutical marketers need more than reach. They need compliance, accuracy, and agility. With in-platform NPI Targeting and Measurement, we are offering a smarter way to engage individual HCPs, optimize in real time, and eliminate the operational delays tied to manual list management or third-party handoffs. It is a major step forward for anyone looking to streamline complex HCP campaigns rapidly, and it sets the stage for even more innovation in healthcare advertising.”
Unlike healthcare-focused demand-side platforms that rely heavily on managed services or limit available inventory, StackAdapt’s approach integrates targeting, optimization and measurement into one system. This structure is designed to support scalability while offering flexibility across channels and formats.
The company says the model gives healthcare advertisers broader inventory access without sacrificing data control or ease of use, supporting campaigns that require both reach and regulatory oversight.In-platform NPI Targeting and Measurement is available to StackAdapt clients in the US. The launch expands the company’s healthcare advertising portfolio, which also includes Script Lift, Audience Quality Measurement, Endemic and EHR Inventory.
