Samsung partners with Warner Bros. for Supergirl release
The partnership includes a themed collection on Samsung Art Store, an in-store promotion with Best Buy in the United States and experiential activations in the United Kingdom as part of the film’s global launch campaign
Samsung Electronics has partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios on a global campaign tied to the theatrical release of Supergirl, combining digital art, retail activations and fan experiences designed to bring audiences closer to the film.
The partnership includes a themed collection on Samsung Art Store, an in-store promotion with Best Buy in the United States and experiential activations in the United Kingdom as part of the film’s global launch campaign.
Samsung Art Store features DC-inspired collection
As part of the collaboration, Samsung Art Store is offering a limited-time Supergirl collection featuring 15 digital artworks from DC Comics. The collection will be available through March 8, 2027, across Samsung’s 2026 Art TV range.
The initiative is intended to give users an additional way to engage with the character’s comic book heritage through Samsung’s connected television ecosystem.
Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics: "Samsung’s display business has long been shaped by the way people engage with film, sports, games and art. Through this partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios, we are bringing together the exciting, intergalactic visual world of ‘Supergirl’ with Samsung’s bold display experiences at home."
Retail activation launches across Best Buy stores
In the United States, Samsung and Best Buy are running a Supergirl-themed sweepstakes across more than 600 participating stores between June 22 and July 19.
Special content from the film will be displayed on Samsung Micro RGB televisions, where customers can participate in an interactive challenge involving a hidden riddle. Solving the puzzle provides additional entries into the sweepstakes.
The activation forms part of Samsung’s broader effort to connect entertainment partnerships with retail experiences and product demonstrations.
London pop-up supports global press tour
Samsung also participated in the film’s global press tour through the Supergirl Rest Stop pop-up event at Phonica Records in London on June 20.
The installation showcased Samsung’s 2026 television and audio products across a series of themed spaces inspired by the film, including recreations of Supergirl’s bedroom, Kara’s ship, an intergalactic bus stop and a space-themed bar.
Julie Moore, Head of Global Brand Partnerships at Warner Bros. Pictures: "The compelling visual world that Craig Gillespie and his teams bring to life in ‘Supergirl’ is unlike anything we’ve seen in the DC Universe, and Samsung, through their innovative Art Store, brings consumers together with their singular technology to deliver that experience on their screens. Having partnered with them on ‘Superman,’ we were eager to work with them again to see how brilliant their ‘Supergirl’ experience would be, and they delivered."
Entertainment partnerships remain a focus
The collaboration continues Samsung’s strategy of linking its display technology with film, gaming, sports and cultural experiences. The company noted that it has maintained its position as the global television market leader for 20 consecutive years.
Through initiatives spanning home entertainment, retail and content partnerships, Samsung is seeking to create additional touchpoints between audiences and the entertainment properties they follow.
