Plug and Play partners with Lean to advance health innovation in Saudi Arabia
Global innovation platform Plug and Play, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lean Business Services (Lean), an enabler of digital health solutions and a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, to drive health innovation and digital transformation in Saudi Arabia.

Through this collaboration, Plug and Play and Lean will launch dedicated acceleration programs focused on digital health and artificial intelligence while establishing innovation hubs that support the development and scale of transformative health technologies across the Kingdom and the broader region.

As part of the visit, the Saudi delegation met with major technology leaders, including Apple and Google, to explore advancements in smart health devices, AI-driven diagnostics, and health data analytics. They also visited Stanford Biodesign Labs and startups such as Insitro and Freenome, which are pioneering AI applications in drug discovery and early disease detection.
This partnership supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals to develop a sustainable, tech-enabled healthcare system. By leveraging global expertise and startup-driven innovation, Lean and Plug and Play are working to empower the next generation of healthcare solutions that improve quality of life for communities across the Kingdom.
