Perion adds AI planning to DOOH platform
According to Perion, the tool is intended to reduce manual planning processes
Perion has unveiled a series of additions to its programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) platform at WOO London, introducing capabilities across campaign planning, activation and measurement.
The company said the updates are designed to address operational challenges in how programmatic DOOH campaigns are planned, bought and measured, bringing multiple stages of campaign execution into a single workflow.
Conversational planning tool introduced
One of the additions is Ask Perion, an agentic planning tool that enables media buyers to create campaign plans through a conversational interface.
Users can enter campaign requirements such as budget, target markets, audience profiles and objectives using natural language. The platform then generates a structured media plan covering cities, venue types, formats, audience segments and publishers.
According to Perion, the tool is intended to reduce manual planning processes and accelerate campaign development.
Guaranteed delivery moves into platform workflow
Perion also introduced DOOH SOV (Share of Voice), a guaranteed-delivery campaign option within its Perion One platform.
The capability allows publishers to manage guaranteed share-of-voice and per-screen delivery directly within the platform. Perion said the feature is designed to bring a significant portion of DOOH spending that is traditionally booked directly between buyers and publishers into the same infrastructure used for programmatic transactions.
The company noted that the approach removes the need for separate booking systems and parallel operational workflows.
Measurement integrated into campaign execution
A third addition, Curated Measurement, introduces a measurement layer that connects campaign planning, delivery and performance data within a unified workflow.
The tool combines planning inputs, delivery information and outcome signals to provide advertisers with performance insights during campaign execution rather than relying on separate post-campaign studies.
Perion said the capability is intended to help advertisers and publishers better understand campaign effectiveness and identify factors influencing performance.
Focus on end-to-end DOOH execution
Together, the three additions reflect a broader effort to streamline programmatic DOOH operations by combining planning, activation and measurement functions within a single platform.
The company said the updates are aimed at providing buyers and publishers with greater efficiency, delivery control and access to performance data throughout the campaign lifecycle.
