Ocean and Sky Sports team up on sports content

The agreement extends Ocean’s portfolio of sports partnerships, which has included the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and The Hundred

Ocean Outdoor UK and Sky Sports have agreed a partnership that will bring highlights from women’s golf and US Open tennis to Ocean’s digital out-of-home (DOOH) network across the UK.

The agreement covers the US Open Tennis and the Solheim Cup, allowing official competition, brand and broadcast partners to align with curated Sky Sports highlights. Coverage will run until 13 September across Ocean’s large-format premium screens in key UK cities.

Ocean adds US Open and Solheim Cup content

Daily coverage of the men’s and women’s US Open Tennis will run across Ocean’s screens from 31 August. Five days of women’s golf highlights from the Solheim Cup, hosted by the Netherlands, will follow from 7 September.

The agreement extends Ocean’s portfolio of sports partnerships, which has included the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup and The Hundred, alongside properties spanning football, rugby and tennis.

Partnership targets growing women’s sports audience

Nick Shaw, CEO of Ocean Outdoor UK: “Women’s sport is seeing significant growth in fan base, viewership and stadium attendances, with brands more interested than ever in gaining association via sponsorships and exposure. Our new alliance with Sky Sports builds on Ocean’s long and successful track record of sports content delivery, and represents a huge new opportunity for advertisers. It keeps us at the forefront of a rapidly expanding and highly valuable space, whilst building on our unique position within the Out of Home (OOH) market as a sports, culture and entertainment content channel.”

Ocean’s sports activity this year began with the inaugural Hundred Auction at Landsec’s The Venue beneath Piccadilly Lights in London on 11 and 12 March. The women’s and men’s auctions were televised live by Sky Sports.

Ocean extends summer sports coverage

Ocean’s summer sports calendar continued with the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which ran from 12 June to 5 July, with the final held at Lord’s. Sky Sports broadcast every match live, while daily highlights were supplied to Ocean for display across its screens the following day.

Highlights from The Hundred followed from 21 July, covering the men’s and women’s competitions ahead of the finals on 16 August. Sky Sports broadcasts all 68 matches of The Hundred, alongside news, clips and highlights across its platforms.

Sports content spans major UK properties

Ocean’s sports portfolio also includes the Barclays Women’s Super League, England’s Red Roses women’s team and the men’s senior England team.

During the summer, Ocean also curated and managed the AELTC’s official Wimbledon fan village at Battersea Power Station. The activation delivered 144 hours of live tennis, with an average dwell time of 2.2 hours and 250,000 footfall across the wider Battersea Power Station estate.
