Nielsen partners with Podscribe to enhance audio ad targeting
Podscribe will integrate Nielsen’s Designated Market Area (DMA) data into its podcast and audio advertising reporting tools. The agreement allows Podscribe to use Nielsen’s proprietary data, which covers 210 media markets across the United States, to provide advertisers and publishers with more precise geographic insights for local campaign evaluation.
The integration is designed to strengthen localized targeting and streamline reporting, while giving buyers and sellers access to standardized market definitions.
Podscribe users will benefit from localized ad targeting, enhanced audience segmentation through internal and third-party mapping, and consistent geo-based metrics to assess campaign reach and inventory value.
Pete Birsinger, CEO and founder, Podscribe: "Integrating Nielsen DMA data is a significant step forward for Podscribe and our commitment to delivering the most accurate and reliable analytics to our users. This partnership ensures that our buyers and sellers have access to standardized and trusted geographic market definitions, enabling more effective localized ad targeting and streamlined reporting across the board."
The partnership underlines Podscribe’s focus on transparency and accountability within digital audio measurement.
Rich Tunkel, Managing Director, Audio, Nielsen: "Podscribe’s collaboration with Nielsen emphasizes the importance of industry-wide standardization across all digital audio impressions. Using the most up-to-date Nielsen local market data will allow for consistent evaluation and comparability across all media platforms, with effective and efficient results."
