New Uber Eats films turn product names into visual gags
Uber Eats has launched a second wave of its Get Almost, Almost Anything campaign, celebrating the platform’s expansive food and retail selection through literal and playful interpretations of product names.
The campaign combines humor, visual storytelling, and clever misdirection to engage viewers while highlighting the app’s variety.
The new films include titles such as Burt’s Bees, Shower Caddy, Head of Lettuce, and Hot Dogs, each bringing imaginative interpretations of everyday items before revealing the actual product available to order on Uber Eats.
Literal wordplay drives engagement
In Burt’s Bees, Ernie from Sesame Street appears in a bee suit, spiraling over Bert’s bees, while Shower Caddy features a golfer interrupting someone mid-shower. Head of Lettuce shows hockey players shaking their hair in a literal “hair-off,” and Hot Dogs depicts a group of self-satisfied dogs lounging poolside.
The campaign turns each product name into a playful visual gag, encouraging viewers to guess the next literal interpretation and keeping the brand front of mind.
Cinematic direction enhances humor
All films were directed by Nick Ball of MJZ, who balances realistic execution with heightened styling to signal the joke while maintaining cinematic craft. This approach ensures the visual misdirection lands effectively while showcasing the platform’s breadth and creative flexibility.
By combining humor, imagination, and engaging storytelling, Uber Eats reinforces its position as a platform where a wide variety of items—both food and retail—are easily accessible.
