McCann names Alkisti Stolp CEO of German operations
McCann has appointed Alkisti Stolp, co-founder and chief business officer of independent agency twentyrising, as the new CEO of McCann Germany. Her appointment reflects the agency’s ambition to strengthen its position in the evolving German advertising market, where clients increasingly expect both cultural relevance and measurable results.
Alkisti Stolp co-founded twentyrising in 2023, helping to establish it as a fast-growing creative agency. As a founding shareholder and board member, she oversaw governance, growth systems, and a culture that supported the agency’s rapid expansion.
Stolp’s career spans senior roles at major international agencies. At VML she served as global client lead, at MediaMonks as managing director, and at Wunderman Thompson as chief client officer. She has led work for clients including BMW, Google/YouTube, Allianz, and Netflix, while building and managing cross-functional teams. She has also participated as a juror at international industry awards such as Gerety and The Brief by Cannes.
Alkisti Stolp said: "Truth Well Told has always inspired me. Beyond the philosophy, most of all as a practice. Creativity rooted in true human insight has the power to move both hearts and markets. My ambition is to build on McCann’s legacy in Germany by combining outstanding creative work with measurable effectiveness and by giving our valuable team the momentum to shape the agency’s next chapter."
Christian Johansen, regional president, UK and Europe: "We are thrilled to welcome Alkisti as the new CEO of McCann Germany. Her entrepreneurial mindset, operational expertise, and deep commitment to people and culture make her the ideal leader. Alkisti brings both the agility of an award-winning indie founder and a track record of global network leadership. Under her leadership McCann Germany is well-positioned to thrive in one of the world’s most competitive markets."
In addition to her agency career, Stolp has launched and grown ventures including Kaizen Gaming in the EMEA region and VICE in Southeast Europe.
