iO develops sustainable brand campaigns for Dutch grid operator Enexis

After a pan-European tender process, grid operator Enexis has chosen to partner with blended agency iO to launch new brand campaigns.

The contract runs for three years, with energy transition as the central focus. With an innovative brand campaign, Enexis wants to focus on raising customer awareness of sustainability and energy consumption and highlight the role of the network for those who generate their own electricity.

Now that the most important phase of the energy transition is approaching, raising awareness levels of Enexis customers is more important than ever. This is illustrated by the end goal that Enexis has in mind with the campaign: preparing the energy network for the energy transition by explaining to customers how they can optimise their energy use. Enexis plays a neutral, connecting role in this, with only the success of the energy transition process in mind.

Enexis and iO already have some shared history. iO experts have been working for Enexis on CRO optimisations and the further development of Enexis.nl since 2017. Now it is time for the creative marketing teams at iO to work their magic. As a strategic and innovative partner, they’ve already started advising, challenging, and inspiring Enexis on:

The development of (new) and distinctive consumer and SME concepts.

A content marketing strategy based on the Enexis brand and content strategy, including content planning and creation.

Setting up and managing (online) advertising campaigns.
