The Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) has admitted four agencies to its membership following its quarterly Council meeting.
Altavia UK, Havas Market UK, Havas Forward Media UK and Iris London were elected to the industry body's membership, joining its network of agencies across the UK.
Agencies highlight effectiveness and development
Altavia UK said joining the IPA supports its focus on marketing effectiveness and long-term client growth. The agency plans to pursue the IPA Effectiveness Accreditation and said it wants to promote the role of shopper marketing in delivering measurable business outcomes.
Havas Market UK and Havas Forward Media UK said membership will provide access to professional training, accreditation and effectiveness frameworks, while supporting talent development, client relationships and commercial growth.
The agencies also cited the IPA's role in representing the advertising industry and providing opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Iris London begins new chapter
Iris London said joining the IPA marks a new stage in the agency's development after more than two decades operating independently. The agency said it is looking forward to contributing its experience while benefiting from the IPA's research, training and thought leadership.
The agency added that it shares the IPA's commitment to demonstrating the commercial value of creativity and advertising effectiveness.
Tom Mott, director of membership, IPA: "I am delighted to welcome Altavia UK, Havas Market UK, Havas Forward Media UK and Iris London into IPA membership. They will be fantastic additions to our wide-ranging community of agencies of different shapes, sizes and specialisms around the UK."
