DEPT expands US leadership with senior hires
DEPT has expanded its US leadership team following client growth and new business wins with brands including Google, Snap, eBay, Moody’s and Coach. The appointments strengthen the company’s creative, media and strategy leadership across the Americas.
Sam Lewis has joined as Senior Vice President of Creative & Media, overseeing a portfolio that represents half of DEPT’s revenue in the region. Lewis previously served as Partner and CEO at WPP’s T&P, where he helped grow the agency network across more than 30 offices worldwide. At DEPT, his role includes driving growth in creative and media while expanding client relationships in data, technology and AI.
Sam Lewis: "DEPT has put together a truly exciting, future-fit agency for some of the most ambitious brands in the world. Designed from the ground up to deliver what clients actually need – unified teams that can move at the speed of business with a talent mix of 50/50 marketers and engineers. My conversations with Carryn and the Americas leadership team showed real alignment for how client-first agencies need to evolve beyond siloed services."
Alongside Lewis, DEPT has appointed four new vice presidents in strategy and client leadership. The company said these hires reflect an investment in senior talent to strengthen client partnerships and scale new business.
Angela Seits, VP of Strategy – formerly at PMG, where she built Centers of Excellence in strategic planning and influencer content, leading strategy for several global brand partnerships.
Eric Druckenmiller, VP of Strategy – joins with more than 20 years of experience at Edelman, Anomaly and other agencies, specializing in brand building and cultural positioning.
Amy Ridley, VP of Strategy – previously at R/GA, where she worked on brand, product and experience strategy for companies such as Adobe, Google and Nike.
Greer Oliver, VP Client Partner – also from R/GA, where she oversaw the global Google account, with experience leading large-scale partnerships across technology, gaming and consumer goods.
Carryn Quibell, CEO, DEPT Americas: "We’re scaling to meet the demand of our ambitions. The brands of tomorrow need agencies built differently, with talent that bridges creative excellence and innovation, and a model that delivers entrepreneurial speed and impact. Sam and our new leaders bring the right mix of creativity and tech expertise that our growing portfolio of clients need to thrive now and in the future."
