Dentsu partners with MOGL to boost athlete influencer campaigns
Dentsu has entered a strategic partnership with MOGL, an athlete influencer technology platform, to connect brands with sports audiences through Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) sponsorships. The collaboration extends dentsu’s presence in the U.S. sports market and enables clients to work with athlete talent through data-driven matching and campaign optimisation.
MOGL’s AI-powered platform pairs brands with college athlete influencers whose profiles align with campaign goals, using native first-party data to identify the best fit. The platform also offers real-time reporting on social media performance and audience reach, giving brands insight into campaign effectiveness.
Cara Lewis, chief investment and activation officer, dentsu: "Sports media is no longer just linear — evolving with fandom is key, and partnering with MOGL accelerates this for dentsu and our clients. Activating data-driven NIL campaigns, with detailed performance reporting, brings innovation and modernisation to the forefront and reinforces a holistic next-gen go-to-market strategy while unlocking expanded reach across these hard-to-engage audiences."
Through the partnership, dentsu teams can integrate NIL opportunities into media plans and influencer proposals, creating more pathways for clients to connect with sports fans.
MOGL’s network of over 30,000 athlete influencers enables brands to reach younger audiences with targeted campaigns.
Ayden Syal, CEO and co-founder, MOGL: "Our partnership with dentsu brings together powerful athlete influencers, premium UGC and produced content, and strategically allocated paid media — all optimised by data and performance, to deliver guaranteed results at scale."
The agreement strengthens dentsu Influence, the company’s influencer and creator capability, and supports the integration of NIL athlete talent into campaigns with authenticity and precision. It also builds on dentsu’s recent expansion of its global Sports and Entertainment offering, positioning the company to help brands engage with fans at the intersection of culture and commerce.
