Clear Channel launches community-focused ad offer
Clear Channel has launched Clear Channel Impact, a marketing solution designed to help advertisers connect media campaigns with community and social impact initiatives.
The offering enables brands to integrate nonprofit partnerships, community engagement and measurable social initiatives into out-of-home advertising campaigns while maintaining full-scale media activity across Clear Channel Outdoor’s network.
Advertising campaigns tied to community initiatives
According to the company, Clear Channel Impact allocates a portion of a brand’s media investment toward selected causes while continuing to run the advertiser’s wider out-of-home campaign. The initiative also includes options for nonprofit project funding, promotional support and branded content creation tied to corporate social responsibility programmes.
Dan Levi, Chief Marketing Officer, Clear Channel Outdoor: “Brands are under more pressure than ever to show up authentically in the communities they serve. Clear Channel Impact gives marketers a way to do that at scale by transforming media investment into something that not only reaches audiences but also makes a tangible and positive difference in their lives.”
The programme was developed in collaboration with and aims to simplify the process of connecting advertisers with nonprofit organisations and cause-led campaigns.
Nonprofit partnerships integrated into media campaigns
Seth Zimmerman, CEO, GoodBrand Impact: “Many brands support important causes, but struggle to communicate their impact in a way that is both authentic and efficient. Our model helps unlock additional funding and storytelling opportunities for communities by connecting brand media dollars with cause-related initiatives that can create measurable local impact, while also giving brands a credible and scalable way to share those stories.”
Clear Channel Outdoor said the initiative builds on its existing community engagement work, which has included partnerships supporting public health, education, environmental and safety campaigns.
The company has previously worked with organisations including the FBI, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, No Kid Hungry, USO and NHTSA, among others.
Brands gain access to cause-led storytelling
Through Clear Channel Impact, advertisers can access campaign development support, nonprofit partnerships, branded storytelling, media amplification and community activations, alongside measurement tools designed to track both marketing performance and social impact.
Adam Vasallo, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America: “Clear Channel has been an invaluable partner in helping us raise awareness about the power of mentorship. Expanding this capability to more brands through Clear Channel Impact creates a powerful new way to bring attention and resources to the movements that strengthen communities.”
Clear Channel Outdoor said campaigns connected to the initiative are expected to launch in multiple markets later this year following early interest from brands and nonprofit organisations.
