BBC Studios renews Bluey deal with Moose Toys

BBC Studios has renewed its global licensing partnership with Moose Toys, extending the company’s role as global master toy partner for Bluey under a new multi-year agreement.

The renewal continues a collaboration that has supported the expansion of Bluey as a global family entertainment brand, spanning toys, digital content, and consumer products.

Bluey toy range continues global growth

BBC Studios said the renewed agreement follows continued demand for Moose Toys’ Bluey product range and recent industry recognition for the brand.

Among the latest awards, Bluey Supermarket was named a finalist in the 2026 Licensing International Excellence Awards and received the Playset of the Year award at the 2026 Toy of the Year Awards. Bluey also secured BBC Studios’ second consecutive License of the Year award.

Suzy Raia, EVP of global consumer products at BBC Studios: “Moose Toys has been an outstanding partner in building an innovative toy and games program that reflects the authenticity, creativity, and emotional heart of Bluey. As Bluey enters an exciting new chapter, including its first feature-length movie, this renewal provides a strong foundation to continue growing with toys that genuinely connect with families worldwide.”

Moose Toys expands Bluey product lineup

Moose Toys said the partnership renewal represents a major milestone for the company, which has worked on the Bluey franchise since its launch.

Ronnie Frankowski, CEO, Moose Toys: “We’re incredibly honored to have been part of bringing Bluey to life from the very beginning, and very proud of the award-winning toys and unforgettable play experiences we have created with BBC Studios and Ludo Studio.”

The company is preparing a new Bluey product lineup for autumn 2026, including Bluey’s Light & Surprise Heeler House, a multi-level interactive playset featuring lights, sounds, and phrases from the series.

Additional releases include the Bluey Sleepover Figure 4 Pack, Bluey’s Cruise Ship playset, and expanded collectible lines including Bluey Fuzzies.

Bluey maintains strong audience performance

BBC Studios said Bluey remained the most-streamed title in the United States during 2025 for the second consecutive year, reaching 45.2 billion minutes viewed.

The official Bluey YouTube channel surpassed 3 billion views and recorded year-over-year subscriber growth of 38 percent. The series also continued to rank as the leading children’s title on CBeebies and Disney+ in the UK, while maintaining strong audience performance across Australia and Europe.

Feature-length Bluey film planned for 2027

The franchise is set to expand further with the release of the first feature-length Bluey movie, scheduled for worldwide cinema release on August 6, 2027.

BBC Studios also confirmed continued expansion of the brand through digital content, live experiences, and collaborations with Disney Experiences as part of the companies’ ongoing global partnership.

Produced by Ludo Studio, Bluey is jointly commissioned by ABC Children’s and BBC Studios Kids & Family, with BBC Studios managing global distribution and merchandise rights.
