Auke Boersma appointed CEO of Adcombi

On 1 April 2021, Auke Boersma (50) became CEO of Adcombi.

Boersma will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, continued growth and international expansion of the MarTech platform. Adcombi offers a local-level SaaS programmatic advertising solution to brands and retailers all around the world, including Coca-Cola, Heineken, Volksbank Raiffeisenbank, Ben & Jerry's and the Volkswagen Group.

International background in digital advertising and MarTech industry

Boersma’s appointment as CEO has not come as a surprise. During his time as a consultant and strategic advisor at Adcombi, he was involved with many areas including market exploration activities in South-east Asia. Boersma previously held several senior positions in advertising and in the MarTech industry in Europe, including at AdLink Group, European Directories and Scoot Media. He also launched Light Reaction for Xaxis and worked for GroupM in Asia-Pacific.

Patented Adcombi technology

In his new role as CEO, Boersma will take charge of the further roll-out of the patented Adcombi technology, which enables brands and retailers to automatically transform (inter)national advertising campaigns into thousands of local programmatic campaigns. Adcombi is currently focusing on further European expansion, while also preparing to open an office in Singapore. This office will become the hub of its efforts to move into South-east Asia.

International scalability and growth

Adcombi founder Gerrit Reinders is convinced that with his broad, international experience, Boersma will be a vital addition to the company as it enters a new phase.
