Adidas Originals and VICE launch campaign to celebrate female photographers
adidas Originals and VICE have launched a new campaign to celebrate the re-introduction of the classic adidas Forum sneaker.
For this campaign five female photographers were given the chance to shoot their muses in the adidas Originals Forum sneaker.
The work they created for this adidas Originals campaign is displayed online on the adidas Originals Open Forum platform page on VICE.com adidas Originals and VICE believe it is important to stimulate diversity in the creative industry.
Women, for example, are underrepresented in the Dutch creative industry with a presence of only 13,8%, with less than 5% of creative directors being female (bron: Dr. Jean Grow, University of Marquette). T
herefore the choice was made for this reintroduction of the adidas Originals Forum sneaker to be shot by upcoming female photographers.
Open Forum displays the work and profiles of Ashley Röttjers, Alifya Al-Harazi, Zoï Pahtalias, Jolene Adelaar en Josje van Stekelenburg. The platform shows how they captured their muses in the adidas Originals Forum sneaker.
Besides an overview of their new work for adidas Originals, Open Forum also provides more information on the featured photographers as well as their contact details.
Additionally, VICE.com will also be publishing branded content in the form of duo interviews with the featured photographers and their muses in the upcoming weeks.
