Adams Outdoor expands footprint with Shelby acquisition

Adams Outdoor Advertising has acquired out-of-home assets from Keysasa Outdoor in Shelby, North Carolina, adding two structures and four digital faces to its portfolio. The move strengthens the company’s presence along the western edge of the Charlotte Designated Market Area, an area shaped by commuter traffic and regional growth.

Located roughly 45 to 50 miles west of Charlotte, Shelby functions as a growing hub for residents, commuters and travellers moving between the city and the Appalachian Foothills. The expanded inventory gives advertisers broader access to this mix of audiences.

Adams strengthens presence in western Charlotte DMA

Kevin Jones, CEO, Adams Outdoor Advertising: "This expansion into Shelby aligns perfectly with our long-term vision. Shelby is experiencing real population growth – up about 4.7 percent since 2020, and these new digital assets put our advertisers directly in front of the steady stream of commuters, shoppers, and travelers who move through and live in this area."

The added displays support brands aiming to reach a wide demographic as development continues to move westward. With the latest additions, Charlotte will host 67 digital billboards.

Acquisition expands digital capabilities across Carolinas

The acquisition reflects the company’s focus on investing in strategic markets and strengthening its digital infrastructure, offering advertisers extended reach across the Carolinas and other Adams Outdoor Advertising markets.
