Topgolf forms media and licensing division
The division is intended to provide brands with a single point of access to Topgolf's audience through in-venue experiences, digital media, first-party data, original content and licensing opportunities
Topgolf has launched Topgolf Media Networks, a division that brings together the company's sponsorship, media and licensing activities under a single organisation.
The division is intended to provide brands with a single point of access to Topgolf's audience through in-venue experiences, digital media, first-party data, original content and licensing opportunities.
Division combines media and sponsorship assets
According to the company, Topgolf Media Networks reaches more than 42 million annual guest visits across more than 100 venues in the United States. The platform also includes more than 28,000 digital screens, owned digital channels and branded content opportunities.
Rather than offering standard sponsorship packages, the division will develop tailored programmes for brands based on their business objectives, target audiences and geographic priorities. Campaigns can combine live experiences, digital engagement and branded storytelling.
Focus on audience engagement
David McKillips, CEO of Topgolf: "Topgolf has become much more than a place to play golf. More than 42 million guests and golfers come to our venues to compete, celebrate, socialize and connect. Topgolf Media Networks allows brands to become part of those experiences through creative partnerships that are measurable, authentic, and built around real consumer engagement."
The company said guests typically spend close to two hours at a Topgolf venue, creating opportunities for advertisers to engage consumers during activities that include golf, dining and social gatherings.
Platform links physical and digital experiences
Topgolf Media Networks is designed to connect in-person experiences with digital engagement by combining venue-based media with first-party consumer data and owned digital channels.
The company said the division expands its commercial offering for advertisers, media partners and licensing partners while supporting campaigns that extend beyond visits to its venues.
