Spotify expands with ITV Studios and VICE titles

Spotify has partnered with Zoo 55, part of ITV Studios, to expand its video library with a slate of entertainment and documentary programming. The deal marks the first time ITV Studios content has appeared on the platform, adding a mix of celebrity interviews, cultural explorations and documentary storytelling.

The lineup includes episodes and compilations of The Graham Norton Show as well as VICE Studios series I Was a Teenage Felon and Dead Set on Life. The additions strengthen Spotify’s growing position as a destination for video content alongside its music and podcast offerings.

Chris Whiteley, managing director of Northern Europe, Spotify: "We are thrilled to welcome ITV Studios’ content to Spotify. Bringing such high-quality, popular video programming to our platform allows us to further enhance the user experience and provides our audience with even more reasons to engage with Spotify. It’s a testament to the growing appeal of video on our platform and our ability to connect leading content creators with millions of listeners and viewers."

For viewers, highlights include memorable celebrity interviews on The Graham Norton Show, featuring appearances from global stars such as Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. VICE Studios programming adds documentary depth, with I Was a Teenage Felon examining the real stories of young people caught in high-stakes crime, and Dead Set on Life following chef Matty Matheson as he explores food, culture and identity across Canada.

Graham Haigh, chief operating officer, Zoo 55: "We’re excited to join forces with Spotify to deliver some of ITV Studios’ most-loved shows to their global audience. As vodcasts boom, these titles shine in both video and audio, and this is just the start of what we’ll bring to our fans on Spotify."

The partnership builds on Spotify’s earlier collaboration with Channel 4, which brought youth-focused programming from its Channel 4.0 platform to the service. With ITV Studios now joining, Spotify continues to strengthen its ties with traditional broadcasters seeking new audiences through digital platforms.

By adding high-profile series and documentaries, Spotify is positioning itself as a more versatile entertainment hub. With established broadcasters now contributing content, the platform is extending its value beyond audio, reinforcing its strategy to combine music, podcasts and video under one roof.
