Kantar completes sale of media division to H.I.G. Capital

Kantar has finalised the sale of its Kantar Media business to H.I.G. Capital, marking a strategic move to sharpen its focus on core areas such as brand strategy and marketing effectiveness. The transaction supports Kantar’s plan to concentrate resources on helping global brands grow through data-driven insights.

Kantar Media, which operates in more than 60 markets, provides audience measurement, media planning, and data analytics services. The business will continue under the leadership of CEO Patrick Béhar and his existing team, ensuring continuity during the transition.

With its new ownership, Kantar Media aims to reinforce its independence and accelerate innovation in media measurement. The business remains committed to delivering insights to clients across the advertising and content landscape.
