Hearst Magazines names Ronak Patel Senior Vice President, General Manager of Lifestyle Group

Hearst Magazines has announced that Ronak Patel has been named senior vice president and general manager of the Lifestyle Group. The announcement was made by Hearst Magazines President Debi Chirichella, to whom she will report.

In this new position at the company, Patel will be responsible for developing and overseeing brand-level consumer strategies that drive innovation, revenue growth and profitability across the company’s Lifestyle Group of brands: Good Housekeeping, Cosmopolitan, Country Living, Delish, House Beautiful, Prevention, Redbook, Seventeen, The Pioneer Woman and Woman’s Day.

Debi Chirichella, President, Hearst Magazines: “Ronak has a deep and diversified background in leading teams and building brands, and we are thrilled to have her join our team as we continue to evolve our business to drive long-term consumer revenue growth.”

Patel joins Hearst from Ziff Davis, where she rose to general manager of the Consumer Tech portfolio of brands. While serving as GM, she led global teams and operations across all facets of the business and was responsible for growing audience and diversifying revenue streams.

Patel: “Hearst Magazines’ portfolio of iconic lifestyle brands are a source of inspiration and trusted information for the millions of women who engage with them each day. It’s an exciting time for the company and I can’t wait to help build on its strong foundation.”

Prior to joining Ziff, Patel was the senior vice president of marketing at Trusted Media Brands, where her role also included oversight of research, data strategy, ad operations and video.

 Throughout her career, she has held numerous senior level marketing and publishing positions, including vice president of client solutions across the network of brands at Time Inc. (now known as Dotdash Meredith).

She will begin her new role on October 16.
