Dentsu Canada promotes senior leaders across media practice
Dentsu Canada has announced a series of leadership promotions across its media practice, strengthening its senior team as the organisation prepares for continued growth into 2026. The appointments span iProspect Canada, dentsu Media Canada and Carat.
The changes are positioned as part of dentsu Canada’s focus on talent development, long-term client partnerships and scaling its media capabilities across the market.
Leadership appointments across the media business
Tracey Johnson has been appointed president of iProspect Canada. She has spent more than eight years with the business, working across digital performance, healthcare and B2B, with responsibility for business growth and client relationships.
In her expanded role, Tracey Johnson will oversee the next phase of iProspect Canada’s development, with a remit covering people leadership, strategic direction and client delivery.
Expanded strategic remit at dentsu Media
Kirk Cavell has been named chief strategy officer at dentsu Media Canada. He previously led strategy at Carat, where he worked on accounts including GM and Kraft Heinz, and will now extend his remit across dentsu’s wider media practice.
The role includes responsibility for shaping strategic thinking across areas such as consumer insight, attention and emerging growth models, as dentsu positions its media offering for the coming years.
Client leadership at Carat
Jordan Baker has been promoted to senior vice president, client leadership at Carat. He moves into the role after serving as vice president, operations, where he worked closely with clients on operational and strategic delivery.
Jordan Baker rejoined Carat two years ago, having previously held roles across sectors including automotive, quick service restaurants and packaged goods. In his new position, he will focus on guiding client relationships through ongoing changes in the media landscape.
