CMI Media strengthens European presence with Paris office
CMI Media Group has expanded its European operations with the opening of an office in Paris and the appointment of Aurélie Rizzo as Director, Global. The move marks a key step in the agency’s international growth strategy and reinforces its focus on healthcare communications tailored to local markets.
The Paris office follows the opening of CMI Media Group’s first international base in London in 2023. The agency now supports clients in more than 100 countries. With Rizzo leading operations in France, the agency will deepen its ability to combine global reach with market-specific expertise.
Justin Freid, Chief Innovation Officer, CMI Media Group: "The opening of our Paris office and the addition of Aurélie Rizzo to our team underscore our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our global clients with precision and local relevance. Clients across Europe and globally are increasingly combining programmatic with first-party data and require partners who can consult on the necessary technology and arising opportunities. France, in particular, represents a highly regulated marketplace where understanding local culture and patient behavior goes far beyond language."
Aurélie Rizzo brings more than 13 years of experience in pharmaceutical communications, including client delivery, project management, and media strategy. She will oversee the development of French-language capabilities, manage partnerships with local suppliers, and ensure integration of regional and global media strategies.
CMI Media Group will also host Agility Berlin: Transformative Thinking, Rx Precision in Healthcare Marketing on 16 October at The Spielfeld in Berlin. The event will address shifts in healthcare media, with a focus on patient-centric approaches across global markets.
Matt Durham, VP, Global, CMI Media Group: "With this expansion, we can now deliver even more precise, culturally relevant campaigns, directly addressing the unique needs of our clients in France, across the continent, and as part of their broader global initiatives. Having a dedicated presence in Paris allows us to truly understand and cater to the distinct nuances of the French market, ensuring our strategies are not just translated, but localized for maximum impact."
The agency highlights its centralized global hub model, proprietary research into healthcare professional media preferences, and advanced data-driven targeting as differentiators. Its integrated approach is designed to deliver local relevance while maintaining alignment with global brand objectives.
