SBS Belgium strengthens channel offering with premium British drama channel BBC First
SBS will represent BBC First and manage advertising sales on the channel from November 1. This partnership will allow advertisers to connect with the BBC First audience in Belgium for the first time, while at the same time allowing BBC Studio to reinvest in more premium content.
The channel has been available in Belgium since 2015 and has a local character because all programs are subtitled in Dutch . BBC First broadcasts the very best, original, new British drama series from and with award-winning talent and can be found on the Telenet EPG number 25.
BBC First is best known for its popular drama series and heart-stopping psychological premieres such as Small Ax, a selection of five original Academy Award films, Bafta and Golden Globe winner Steve McQueen (Hunger, 12 Years A Slave).
