Orange appoints Eric Fohlen-Weill as Director of Media Relations and Digital Influence
The Orange Group has announced the appointment of Eric Fohlen-Weill as the new Director of Media Relations and Digital Influence. Fohlen-Weill will report directly to Caroline Guillaumin, Orange's Executive Director of Communication and a member of the Group's Executive Committee, taking on a pivotal role in shaping the telecommunications giant's public narrative.
Fohlen-Weill brings a robust background in corporate communications, media strategy, and digital engagement to the position. A graduate of EFAP (Écoles de communication), he began his career at FTI Consulting, the international strategic communication firm. Over a 13-year tenure, he specialized in advising a diverse portfolio of French and international companies, both publicly traded and private, on reputation management.
His career trajectory includes significant leadership roles in large, global organizations. In 2017, he transitioned to the automotive sector, joining Faurecia (now Forvia) - the world's seventh-largest automotive supplier - as Head of Press and Social Media. He subsequently led the group's corporate communication from 2019 through 2022.
Before joining Orange, Fohlen-Weill served as the External Communications Director at Servier Group since 2022. His diverse experience across consulting, automotive, and pharmaceuticals positions him to oversee Orange's critical function of engaging with media and leveraging digital platforms to influence its corporate image.
