NIQ secures TikTok Media Mix Modeling badge to enhance advertiser measurement

NIQ, a global powerhouse in consumer intelligence, has solidified its standing in the digital advertising ecosystem by earning a partner badge in TikTok's newly launched Media Mix Modeling (MMM) program. This achievement, a focused area within the broader TikTok Marketing Partners Program, signals NIQ's advanced proficiency in media analytics and its capacity to provide state-of-the-art measurement for marketers worldwide.

The TikTok Marketing Partners Program is composed of carefully vetted third-party companies that meet the platform’s rigorous standards for quality and expertise. NIQ’s inclusion, specifically for MMM, empowers advertisers to gain a holistic view of their campaign performance on TikTok and the rapidly growing TikTok Shop.

Unlike conventional methods that rely on last-click attribution, the MMM approach allows advertisers to measure the full-funnel impact of their marketing efforts. This is particularly crucial on a platform like TikTok, where consumer behavior is driven by content discovery and entertainment.

Jason Tate, General Manager of Marketing Effectiveness, NIQ: ''We are thrilled to expand our longstanding relationship with TikTok by becoming a badged MMM Marketing Partner, providing further validation of NIQ’s rigorous measurement capabilities. This is particularly valuable on TikTok, where people discover products through entertainment, not just by clicking on ads.''

A key technological element of this partnership is the integration of TikTok's new reporting API directly into NIQ's systems. This automated data delivery system is designed to eliminate the error-prone manual processes traditionally associated with data collection. By accelerating reporting capabilities and providing a consistent feed of high-quality campaign data, the API will support NIQ’s continuous measurement model training and campaign optimization guidance.

As advertising volume on TikTok continues to surge, this integration will enable NIQ to incorporate richer, more frequent data into its marketing mix models, unlocking powerful insights that allow advertisers to refine their overall mix of media investments for stronger performance.

Lorry Destainville, Global Head of Product Partnerships, TikTok: ''Clients increasingly look to understand TikTok's broader role in their effective marketing mix. By working with one of our vetted Marketing Partners, advertisers can better understand TikTok's media effectiveness in relation to their media mix and leverage those insights toward stronger business results.''

NIQ's marketing mix models are now available to advertisers globally, helping them to confidently measure the true impact of their TikTok campaigns and move beyond singular, limited metrics.
