Netherland's Breda region to switch from analogue to digital cable television
The Netherland's Breda region will switch from analogue to fully digital cable television in the night of Monday 23 November to Tuesday 24 November. Ziggo started its '' Schakelmee '' campaign in March 2018 with the switch to fully digital cable television and almost 3 million Ziggo customers now watch fully digitally.
Previously, the analog disconnection took place in more than 17 regions, including Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. About three quarters of all Ziggo customers already watch fully digitally. Via digital cable TV, Ziggo delivers digital quality television to all its customers everywhere.
The vast majority of customers already watch fully digital TV. In each region, Ziggo informs customers well in advance about the time of the switch in their neighborhood. Ziggo customers can check themselves whether they are already watching digital television. This can be done by setting the television to channel 14. If the channel Ziggo Sport appears on the screen, people are already watching digitally. If another channel is to be seen on that channel, analog is still being watched.

After the conversion from analogue to digital reception, Ziggo customers will also receive extra channels, including Ziggo Sport, including live Formula 1, Champions League, the English and Spanish football leagues and many more sports. They also receive all regional channels in the Netherlands. In addition, NPO 1, 2 and 3 can now be viewed in HD quality. The switch to digital cable TV does not affect the subscription costs, they remain the same as the subscription that the customer already has.
