Hearst Magazines names Shashvat Sinha Senior Vice President of Product and Technology at CDS Global

Hearst Magazines has announced that Shashvat Sinha has been named senior vice president of product and technology of CDS Global, an omnichannel relationship management platform for consumer-first businesses. The announcement was made by Hearst Magazines President Debi Chirichella and Interim Head of Hearst Media Platforms Rajiv Pant.

In his new role, Sinha will be responsible for product management, technology strategy and technical project delivery for CDS. He will work closely with Interim President of CDS Global Paul Polus and his team to define and lead the modernization of the technology platform powering CDS Global and Hearst Magazines’ digital businesses.

With Shashvat’s experience, we will further advance our technology capabilities, while broadening our customer base into other market segments to grow and diversify our business.”

Sinha joins CDS Global after more than 10 years with Barclays Capital, where he demonstrated expertise in delivering sophisticated technology solutions. During his tenure, he held multiple senior-level positions between Singapore and New York.

Prior to Barclays, Sinha was with the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he modernized their algorithmic trading systems and with Credit Suisse where he ran technology transformation programs across APAC.

Reporting to Pant and Polus, Sinha will begin his new role on December 20.
