Havas named agency of record for The Travel Corporation

The Travel Corporation has appointed Havas as its first agency of record following a competitive pitch at holding company level. The process was managed by AAR Group, with Havas selected ahead of several global agency groups to become TTC’s primary strategic partner.

The appointment brings Havas onto TTC’s core agency roster and marks a shift toward a more integrated partnership model. The Publicis role in Oceania, where it remains creative partner for Contiki, is unaffected.

Integrated model across key markets

Havas will deploy its integrated Village model, combining capabilities from Havas Creative Network, Havas Media Network and its AI-powered content-at-scale network, Prose on Pixels. The work will be led from London, New York and Sydney, with activity spanning TTC’s main markets in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa.

The first work from Havas for TTC is scheduled to launch in March 2026. The partnership is underpinned by Havas’ group-wide operating system, Converged.AI, designed to connect strategy, creativity, media and data across markets.

Supporting TTC’s strategic transformation

The appointment reflects a broader transition by TTC from a largely in-house marketing approach to a strategic agency partnership across creative, media and content production. This change forms part of the group’s wider transformation programme following its acquisition by Apollo in 2024.

As part of the remit, Havas has been tasked with supporting growth across several TTC brands, including Trafalgar, Uniworld and Contiki. Each brand operates with a distinct proposition and audience, while benefiting from shared efficiencies at group level. TTC’s combined annual media spend is around 30 million dollars, with increased investment planned through 2029.

Client and agency perspectives

Duncan Robertson, OA Chief Customer Officer at The Travel Corporation: “2026 marks an important chapter in TTC’s more than one hundred year history, as we embark on a strategic transformation and reimagine how our brands connect with travellers worldwide. In Havas, we have found a partner with the scale, capability and innovation required to compete in an increasingly complex travel market and support our growth ambitions.”

He added: “Havas demonstrated a strong understanding of the nuances of our brands, showing how cross-brand efficiency can be delivered while respecting the strategic and executional differences between each.”

Tamara Greene, Chief Client Officer, Global Brands, Havas Creative Network: “The travel sector is undergoing significant disruption and innovation, making this a compelling opportunity for an agency network. Partnering with TTC and its portfolio of brands is a privilege, and we are grateful for the trust placed in Havas at such a pivotal moment. We are excited to begin working together.”
