Havas acquires majority stake in German communications firm Gauly Advisors
Havas has acquired a majority stakae in Gauly Advisors, one of Germany’s leading corporate and financial communications firms. The firm will join H/Advisors, Havas’s global strategic communications consultancy, further bolstering its presence across Germany, the DACH region, and Europe.
Founded in 2012, Gauly Advisors provides strategic and communications counsel to major international corporations, both listed and privately held. Now operating as H/Advisors Gauly, the firm joins a global network of more than 1,500 professionals across 20 countries.
Gauly’s management team — including Marcus Brans, Alexander Cordes, Sandra Fabian, Vanessa Haumberger, Helge Hoffmeister, and Andreas Martin — will retain a significant equity stake and continue to lead the company, ensuring long-term continuity.
Together with H/Advisors Deekeling Arndt, the combined operations will offer full national coverage with offices in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, and Berlin, as well as close collaboration with H/Advisors’ partners in Zurich, Vienna, and Brussels.
Yannick Bolloré, CEO, Havas. “Strategic communication is indispensable to leadership, trust, and performance. The talented team at Gauly strengthens our ambition to build a truly global consultancy capable of guiding clients through complex reputational and business challenges.”
Stéphane Fouks, Executive Chairman, H/Advisors, added: “The acquisition reflects what defines H/Advisors — collaboration, creativity, and impact. It reinforces our leadership in Europe and supports our ambition to build a bold, modern, and European-rooted consultancy for a changing world.”
Alexander Cordes, Managing Partner, Gauly: “Joining H/Advisors is a natural next step in our journey. It allows us to remain an entrepreneurial, quality-driven firm rooted in the DACH region, while giving our clients and teams access to global reach and world-class expertise.”
The move significantly enhances H/Advisors’ capabilities in financial and corporate communications, crisis and issues management, public affairs, and transformation consulting, reinforcing its position as a leading European strategic advisory platform.
