
GroupM appoints Alexandra Chabanne to lead France operations
GroupM, WPP’s media investment group, has announced Alexandra Chabanne to lead GroupM France as CEO, effective 6th November 2023.
Chabanne will focus on the ongoing transformation of GroupM France by capitalizing on the value GroupM brings to advertisers, across the entire media investment landscape.
Chabanne has over 15 years of experience in leadership roles and more than 20 years of expertise in digital, marketing and media. Since 2016, she has been with GroupM as COO France, where she has played a pivotal role in building digital, data, and content offerings.
In 2017, Chabanne additionally took on the role of CEO at MediaCom Paris (now EssenceMediacom Paris) where she successfully led and grew the agency, winning major clients and establishing a hub in Paris, expanding into industries including luxury, retail, technology and new economy businesses.
