Financial Times names the7stars as new global media partner
Media agency, the7stars, have been appointed as the new global media agency partner for the Financial Times (FT), following an extensive review process led in collaboration with Ingenuity+
The appointment marks a significant step in supporting the FT’s long-term strategic vision and growth ambitions. The FT is focused on expanding its global base of paying subscribers and continuing to build its premium brand in an increasingly competitive media landscape.

The Consumer Revenue Group, responsible for consumer subscriptions of the FT’s business, has worked with EssenceMediaCom, part of GroupM, since 2014. EM retained the account following a competitive pitch in 2019 and expanded its remit in 2022 to take on full media management.
The transition to the7stars will begin this month, with a full handover planned for the summer.
