[eMarketer] Digital content consumption trends

As news consumption trends evolve and consumers get exposed to an array of platforms that offering both free and premium content, debate has been varied on which model appeals most to consumers.

In a US survey conducted by eMarketer, 14.4 per cent of US adults said they would be comfortable paying over $15 monthly to access online content. Seven out of ten respondents opined that their budget for digital content was at a maximum of $10.
