Blue Grass installs new leadership

Blauw Gras, now part of Ace for almost two years, recently presented a new course. From now on, this also includes new leadership with three experienced agency staff members who will join the MT. Erik Wiese, in turn, takes a step back from Blauw Gras to progress to Ace.

Michelle van der Zee, who has worked at Isobar for more than 10 years in the past, has held the position of Operations Director since March 2021. In this role, she is responsible for the health of internal operations. Claire Daemen and Maaike Langereis, both active for a year in the role of Account Director and previously working for agencies such as N=5, \TBWA and Isobar, are moving up to the roles of Client Services Director and Commercial Director, respectively. Daemen will be responsible for the growth of clients, where Langereis will set out and monitor the overall business strategy of the agency in addition to servicing a number of key accounts.

Gijs van der Togt (Head of Strategy) and Bart Visser (Executive Creative Director) will remain part of the management team and thus ensure continuity. Van der Togt's focus is shifting more towards the positioning and branding of the agency.

Erjon Tuenter, Co-founder & Managing Director, Blauw Gras: “I am very happy that these powerhouses have strengthened the MT. After Erik's departure, the recent launch of Social Brands and our sharpened vision on business operations, we are entering a new phase with our agency. With the addition of Michelle, Claire and Maaike to our management team, I am convinced that we will once again make this phase a success.”

Blauw Gras expects to continue its steady growth in the coming years. With the recently presented proposition 'Social Brands', the agency is embarking on the path of brand building, based on the fundamental principles of social media.
