‘Where our gals at’ campaign bridges teen–senior connections
Rain the Growth Agency has developed Where Our Gals At, a pro bono campaign produced for GlamourGals Foundation, the nonprofit that connects teenage girls with senior women for makeovers, manicures and conversations to help reduce loneliness and build intergenerational relationships.
The work is part of Purpose, Produced, an initiative from SixDegrees.org in partnership with Advertising Week, which pairs creative agencies with nonprofits to advance mission-led storytelling.
The campaign aims to highlight shared humanity across generations and portray the emotional impact of volunteer visits. Assets include a twenty-five-year celebration video, social content, out-of-home concepts, a sticker pack and digital storytelling materials designed to capture moments of care, connection and self-expression.
Agency focuses on connection and belonging
Scott McClure, Senior Vice President, Creative, Rain the Growth Agency: "We wanted to tell a story that feels universal but still authentic to the mission, one centered on connection, bonding, and the simple joy of feeling seen and valued. As a female-founded agency, we were drawn to this nonprofit's mission right away. Where Our Gals At is a reminder that empowerment comes in many forms and sometimes it's as simple as a conversation over a manicure."
GlamourGals hopes the visibility generated by the campaign will broaden awareness, encourage new involvement and strengthen community engagement.
Rachel Doyle, CEO and Founder of GlamourGals: "The seniors we serve — as well as our teen volunteers — light up during these moments of care and conversation. It's not just about makeovers, it's about connection, belonging, empathy, and shared joy. This campaign captures that beautifully — seeing it come to life as we celebrate our 25th anniversary has been profoundly moving. I'm extremely honored to have been selected for this opportunity."
Purpose, Produced highlights nonprofit storytelling
The collaboration is one of six created through Purpose, Produced, a first-of-its-kind programme that brings grassroots nonprofits together with agency talent and creative resources.
Stacy Huston, Executive Director of SixDegrees.org: "At SixDegrees.org, our mission has always been to harness creativity and connection for good. This partnership is a powerful example of how storytelling can build bridges across industries, generations, and communities and how each of us has the power to make an impact. We're excited for the world to see what this team has been working on."
