Perkins appoints St. John as creative agency of record
Perkins Restaurant & Bakery has chosen St. John as its creative agency of record, adding the chain to the Jacksonville agency’s expanding roster of restaurant and hospitality clients. St. John brings four decades of experience developing campaigns for restaurant, retail and consumer brands.
The agency has long worked across fast-casual, quick-service and full-service dining, shaping strategy for regional and national brands such as Zaxby’s, Smoothie King and Ruby Tuesday. Its remit now includes helping Perkins strengthen its position in an increasingly competitive dining landscape.
Perkins seeks refreshed brand direction
Kimberly Bean, VP marketing, Perkins: “We chose St. John for their true understanding of our brand, our guests and the role we can play in their daily dining experiences. The agency’s strategy and the creative ideas it generated made it clear they are the right partner as we continue a new chapter for Perkins.”
Founded in 1958, Perkins has grown from a single pancake house in Ohio to a company operating 300 locations across thirty two states and two Canadian provinces. St. John will guide brand positioning as Perkins invests in its next phase, including a redesigned restaurant prototype in Orlando and wider expansion plans.
Partnership strengthens agency’s restaurant portfolio
Peter Herbst, executive creative director, St. John: “We are thrilled that Perkins, a classic, all-American success story and a beloved legacy brand, has chosen us to be their creative partner.”
The assignment builds on St. John’s momentum in the dining sector. The agency also works with Metro Diner, which operates more than seventy five locations, and leads the U.S. market rollout for Lukumades, the international doughnut and coffee brand founded in Melbourne.
