Opel takes Corsa on a rollercoaster
Opel has launched the next phase of its Yes, of Corsa campaign across Europe, building on the platform introduced three years ago to promote the Corsa. The campaign introduces a fresh creative approach centered on a hero film that highlights the model's design, technology and driving characteristics.
The campaign is being rolled out across television, online video, print, digital out-of-home and social media, with launches taking place in phases across European markets.
Hero film puts Corsa on a rollercoaster
The centerpiece of the campaign features the Opel Corsa driving along a rollercoaster track, using the setting to demonstrate the vehicle's handling, design and technology.
The creative highlights features including the Corsa's aerodynamic styling, bi-tone colour options and Intelli-Lux adaptive lighting system, positioning them as part of the driving experience.
Rebecca Reinermann, Vice President Marketing, Opel and Vauxhall: "Three years after its launch, ‘Yes, of Corsa’ is now synonymous throughout Europe with that unmistakable Corsa feeling. And that is exactly what we are building on now. The new campaign takes customers behind the scenes of the final validation tests for our Corsa – in an extraordinary rollercoaster setting. In doing so, we are demonstrating what really matters: uncompromising quality for maximum driving enjoyment."
Campaign supports wider Corsa range
The campaign carries the tagline Made for Fun and promotes the Corsa line-up, which includes battery-electric, hybrid and internal combustion engine variants.
Opel also confirmed it will introduce the battery-electric Corsa GSE later this year. The model will produce 207 kW (281 hp), 245 Newton metres of torque and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, expanding the performance offering within the Corsa range.
