Kimberly-Clark appoints Africa Creative for Brazil brands

Kimberly-Clark and Omnicom have introduced a revised communications structure for three brands in Brazil, appointing Africa Creative to lead integrated communications and strategy across the accounts.

The move brings Africa Creative into Kimberly-Clark’s agency ecosystem for the first time. The agency will lead creative work for Intimus and oversee media operations for Huggies and Plenitud as part of a consolidated structure designed to integrate strategy, creativity and media.

Integrated communications across three brands

Under the new arrangement, Africa Creative becomes the lead agency for Intimus, a brand in the feminine care category. The agency will manage the full communications strategy, including planning, creative development, content production, activations and media buying.

For Huggies and Plenitud, Africa Creative will oversee media intelligence and media buying strategy.

The restructuring integrates responsibilities that were previously managed by multiple agencies. Creative duties for Intimus were previously handled by FCB Brazil, while media intelligence for all three brands had been managed by Omnicom Media. The revised structure brings these activities together within Africa Creative.

Focus on agility and collaboration

The consolidation aims to streamline operations while strengthening collaboration across teams and improving agility in campaign development and execution.

Sergio Gordilho, Partner, Co-President and Chief Creative Officer at Africa Creative: "It is an honor to work with a company that has consistently revolutionized its categories through product innovation and is now taking on, with the same boldness, the ambition to revolutionize creativity in communication as well. Kimberly-Clark is raising the bar for the market. For us at Africa Creative, this partnership represents the union of two forces that believe true creativity generates value, cultural relevance, and legacy."

Marília Zanoli, Chief Marketing Officer at Kimberly-Clark Brazil: "We are very excited about this move, which accelerates our growth strategy and strengthens Kimberly-Clark's brands. The partnership with Africa Creative ensures that the excellence of our products is also reflected in a more agile, modern communication that is connected to the needs of our consumers."
