Jeep teams with Marvel on Captain America campaign
Jeep has partnered with Marvel on a marketing campaign that brings together the Jeep Wrangler and Captain America as part of celebrations marking the United States’ 250th anniversary.
The collaboration connects two brands first established in 1941, framing the partnership around shared themes of freedom, service and adventure as both prepare for milestone anniversaries.
Wrangler A250 edition highlights joint storytelling approach
At the centre of the campaign is the Jeep Wrangler America250 special edition, which includes patriotic red, white and blue design elements and a limited-edition Captain America shield tire cover.
Olivier François said the collaboration was designed to move beyond traditional product marketing and embed storytelling into the vehicle itself.
Olivier François, global chief marketing officer, Stellantis: "As the nation celebrates its 250th anniversary-and Jeep marks 25 consecutive years as America's most patriotic brand-we wanted to do something more meaningful and distinctly Jeep than simply adding an American flag.
"We teamed up with Marvel to bring the Captain America shield-one of the most iconic symbols in pop culture-directly onto the vehicle as a tire cover of the Jeep Wrangler A250 edition. In doing so, we flipped the usual model: instead of product inspiring marketing, marketing inspired the product."
Campaign extends into film and comic content
The campaign includes an “Origin Story” film that combines animation and comic-book style visuals to introduce the Wrangler A250 edition. The creative also references the historical role of Jeep vehicles, including the WWII-era Willys, in supporting military mobility.
Jeep and Marvel Comics Group have also developed a limited-edition comic book cover featuring Captain America alongside the Wrangler A250 edition, available with select vehicle purchases.
Holly Frank said the collaboration reflects the shared legacy of both brands.
Holly Frank, VP, global marketing partnerships & promotions, Disney: "This collaboration celebrates two icons born from the same era and rooted in strength and purpose.
"We're thrilled to be working with Jeep to celebrate that shared legacy, while also looking toward the future and an epic new era of storytelling with 'Avengers: Doomsday' later this year."
America250 partnership activates wider storytelling platform
The campaign also includes “The Original Superheroes”, which highlights U.S. military veterans as real-world figures of heroism, connecting Jeep’s historical use in military contexts with its modern brand identity.
Rosie Rios said the initiative reflects shared national values.
Rosie Rios, chair of America250: "As we prepare to mark America's 250th birthday, our partnership with the Jeep brand reflects our shared belief in the power of freedom and the enduring call to adventure.
"These values have shaped our nation since its earliest days and continue to inspire us as we celebrate our country's historic milestone and look to the future."
The campaign is part of Jeep’s role as an exclusive automotive partner of America250, which is overseeing nationwide commemorations of the Declaration of Independence anniversary.
