Enel uses six decades to tell corporate story
The campaign is built around the claim “Enel. Energy for Generations,” positioning the company’s role in relation to the country’s development
Enel has launched a corporate campaign tracing more than 60 years of change in Italy through the story of a couple whose lives evolve alongside the country’s social, technological and cultural transformation.
The campaign follows the protagonists from adolescence as they build their lives together. Changes in everyday objects, fashion, technology and local businesses mark the different periods they experience, while Enel’s presence remains a constant element throughout the story.
Enel links energy with generational change
The campaign is built around the claim “Enel. Energy for Generations,” positioning the company’s role in relation to the country’s development while highlighting its long-term relationship with households and communities.
The narrative connects Enel’s history with its focus on adapting to changing energy and social needs. The campaign presents the company as a consistent presence while the protagonists and the surrounding environment change over time.
Procol Harum soundtrack spans generations
The campaign uses Procol Harum’s A Whiter Shade of Pale as its soundtrack. Originally released in 1967, the song accompanies the story’s movement between different periods and reinforces the campaign’s focus on continuity.
The television campaign will run across major networks in 60-second, 30-second and 15-second versions.
