Edelman appoints Taj Reid U.S. Chief Creative Officer

Edelman is announcing new, key appointments within its creative leadership team, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to creative that is culturally salient and inspires action.

Taj Reid has been appointed to the role of U.S. Chief Creative Officer, while also maintaining his position as Global Chief Experience Officer for the firm. He succeeds Jordan Atlas, who is taking on a new role as Global Executive Creative Director, where he will focus on a dynamic portfolio of key global clients.

Taj is an Edelman boomerang and returned to the team in 2019 as Executive Design Director, bringing valuable experience from leading creative for Microsoft's mixed reality division. His leadership and innovative thinking have been evident across various clients, including Samsung, eBay, Unilever, LinkedIn, and Minecraft.

Taj’s empathetic approach, curiosity and contagious enthusiasm have shaped his reputation and leadership style, landing him on Adweek’s 50 Most Indispensable People in the Industry list.

In his new role, Taj will report into Judy John, Edelman’s Global Chief Creative Officer, working with her to unite the creative community across design, digital experience, and creative, fostering collaboration and innovation during this period of creative upheaval for the industry.

Jordan Atlas has been with Edelman for nearly 10 years, since 2014 when he was asked to lead the Southern California creative team. His creative prowess has played a pivotal role in Edelman U.S. achieving remarkable recognitions, including being named 2023 Contagious Pioneers’ Best and Bravest, The One Show’s #5 Independent Agency Network, and being named one of The Drum's Top 100 US Creative Agencies in 2023.
