DEPT appoints Barbara Bijlard as VP of clients

The appointment follows a period of growth in the region, with new clients including Praxis, Grolsch, Stokke and Wero

DEPT has appointed Barbara Bijlard as Vice President of Clients, with a focus on the company's creative portfolio. Bijlard joins from ACE, where she served as Managing Director, and will be responsible for strengthening existing client relationships and driving new business growth in the Netherlands.

The appointment follows a period of growth in the region, with new clients including Praxis, Grolsch, Stokke and Wero, as well as recent additions to the leadership team, including Pol Hoenderboom as Executive Creative Director, Irene de Vos as Vice President of Growth and Roy Armale as Global Chief Product Officer. Bijlard will report to Lucas Nutbey, Head of Market for the Benelux and Nordics.

Bijlard's career has been built at the intersection of creativity, strategy and commercial leadership. Before joining ACE, she held senior roles at DDB Amsterdam and 180 Amsterdam as part of a 13-year career within Omnicom, which began at Kingsday in 2011.
