Copacino Fujikado offers brands a free creative sprint
Over the next year, the agency will give four companies, one per quarter, the opportunity to bring a live marketing brief and receive creative development without cost or an obligation to continue working with the agency.
Seattle-based agency Copacino Fujikado is offering Fortune 1000 companies free access to its two-week creative sprint process as part of an initiative called Agency Cheat Day.
Agency Cheat Day offers no-cost creative sprint
Under the programme, each participating marketer brings Copacino Fujikado a real brief. During a two-week sprint, the agency will develop five to seven campaign-level ideas addressing the challenge.
The process prioritizes developing larger campaign concepts rather than refining individual executions. Copacino Fujikado says the ideas are intended to have the potential to become campaign platforms that can extend across media, channels and executions.
The sprint concludes with a Yes/No/Maybe session, where the client and agency assess the ideas together and identify those with potential for further development.
Copacino Fujikado removes commitment from agency trial
If a client chooses to continue, it will pay for work from that point onwards. If it decides not to proceed, it can leave without having paid for the sprint.
Scott Foreman, CEO, Copacino Fujikado: "We've built our reputation on not always being the safe, familiar choice. This is us putting our money where our mouth is. If a CMO can see what we do with zero risk and zero cost, the only reason left not to try us is inertia. We're betting our work speaks for itself."
The initiative is built around the agency's view that companies face greater risk by never testing alternative agency relationships than by evaluating one through a limited creative engagement.
